PSA Pt. 3

  • These are contact sheets of my blank puppet and subsequent character puppets.
  • Each puppet is comprised of 14 parts: 1) Head, 2) Torso, 3) Two hands, 4) Two feet, 5) Two upper arms, 6) Two forearms, 7) Two thighs, 8) Two Calves.
  • Characters include the heroin and her daughter, the pirate and his son, the knight in shining armor and his daughter, and the lone girl in the bumper end scene.
  • These puppets are all comprised of all 14 pieces (clothing is attached to each individual one) and are ready for rigging.

This is the robot that the heroin will defeat to save her daughter (disassembled, of course, to be assembled in After Effects as the animation process demands)

Practice with Duik Tutorial!

I made this practice run of Duik's rigging tutorial. Tutorial can be found here:

http://duduf.training/?p=736

This video compares Duik's puppet tools to After Effects built-in puppet tools. Clearly we can see whose tools reigns supreme.
